Wireless Manager is a very simple tool. Once you've installed it, it allows you to automatically turn off the WiFi on your Android device so that it doesn't use up so much of your battery life.
It's very easy to use. You create a kind of WiFi network address book listing the networks that you want your device to connect to, and if you are not near one of those networks, then Wireless Manager will deactivate the WiFi on your device so that it stops searching for new networks, which is what wears down your battery most quickly.
While you are not connected to a network, you can use the options in Wireless Manager to establish how frequently you want your device to check to see if you are within range of a known network.
Wireless Manager is a simple but very useful tool. It takes up very little space on your device (barely a megabyte) and allows you to prolong your battery life a lot.
